Happy first day of fall! I would have to say fall is one of my favorite seasons. It’s typically warm enough to still get out to hike and explore. At the same time, it’s cooling down enough to make me want to get cozy, crafty and bake. Pinterest is, of course, one of my favorite sources of inspiration. Here are my 5 favorite pins for inspiration this fall. You could also consider this part of my fall bucket list!
I don’t know about the rest of you, but my skin tends to get super dry in the winter. I love using sugar scrubs to exfoliate and moisturize my skin. I am excited to try this one! Pumpkin, coffee and a coconut oil base? Talk about a serious triple threat! If this recipe pans out, I’m hoping to send it in a few care packages to friends.
These felt coffee sleeves are so cute! They look simple to make, while making it easy to eliminate waste. This time of year has me drinking even more coffee than usual. I’m also hoping to make some of these for care packages, or pick winter designs and give them as Christmas gifts.
Easy Mini Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls
A co-worker of mine had made these for my bridal shower last fall. You could say my love of pumpkin is quite obvious to those around me. These rolls were the perfect combination of flavors without being too sweet. I love pairing one with coffee for an afternoon pick-me-up. This recipe is definitely at the top of my list when I get ready to turn on the oven.
Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup
If I’m not craving pumpkin, then fall definitely has me craving soups! I love being able to throw a soup in my crockpot and come home to a delicious meal at the end of the working day. Or, putting the ingredients together and settling in to play board games while the flavors simmer together. Growing up, I loved coming home to the smell of my mom’s wild rice soup. I knew I had to pin this to my Pinterest board to make this Fall!
Our one year anniversary is only two months away. My husband and I have already talked about renting a cabin and getting away in the Black Hills for a weekend. This picture sums up my vision perfectly: A cozy fireplace, snuggling under blankets, drinking hot coffee. Definitely on my bucket list to finish out 2016!
Pinterest truly is one of my favorite sources of inspiration. Whether it be a homemade gift, delicious dinner or dessert recipe, or just a visual for my bucket list, I’ve never come away from Pinterest disappointed. I hope you enjoyed this quick round up to celebrate this first day of fall. Do you have any go-to recipes? Any special plans on your bucket list? Share them in the comments below!
